This week got off to a pretty good start at The Movie Bit with the chance to sit down with the eerily talented and highly engaging M. Night Shyamalan. In Dublin to promote his new thriller The Visit, we grabbed a few moments to ask him about his inspiration for his new film, how much of himself he puts into his lead characters, his process in working with child actors on those tough scenes and what masters he draws from when it comes to the creative process. Check it out below!
Synopsis:
Writer/director/producer M. Night Shyamalan and producer Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, The Purge and Insidious series) welcome you to Universal Pictures’ The Visit. Shyamalan returns to his roots with the terrifying story of a brother and sister who are sent to their grandparents’ remote Pennsylvania farm for a weeklong trip. Once the children discover that the elderly couple is involved in something deeply disturbing, they see their chances of getting back home are growing smaller every day.
Releases: 9th September 2015
