This particular trailer has me floored. Honestly, by the time you read this, I'll have spent the best part of 25 minutes staring at the little font blinker, trying to explain why this looks so absolutely incredible. I'll assume if you read The Movie Bit a lot, then you've got a large interest in cinema, movies, etc. And I'd guess that a lot of us film geeks have attempted (somewhat hilariously so) to make our own movies as kids. To see a film that feels like it came from our childhood, a film told through the eyes of children trying to make a cheap-as-chips monster movie on a piece-of-crap camera? Nostalgia, man. But no, it's not just nostalgia. Super 8 just looks fantastic. Like a lost Spielberg flick.
