Deadline is reporting that MGM has found it's scribe for the remake of the 1987 sci-fi/action classic, Robocop. The studio has hired Josh Zetumer for screenplay duties, his previous credits including a spec-script for The Bourne Legacy and a script for the now-debunk Dune adaptation. Just this month the studio hired Brazilian director Jose Padilha (Elite Squad, Elite Squad 2) to helm the reboot.
