I know there’s going to be a lot of people tuning in to the show tonight, but equally alot will hand in sick notes as it is Valentines night. I have chosen to work, and leave the wife at home on her lonesome. Mortgage won’t pay itself and all that, and to boot we had an outstanding day, from champagne brekkie to a nice stroll on the beach!
Now, for those of you looking to while away an hour or two before you take off your pants, I’m gonna recommend a movie of the lovey, dovey nature. Simply put, this is a movie many of us can relate to (not in the literal sense mind) as it follows the plight of a couple who call it a day and the subsequent turmoil and rollercoaster that follows. And by christ, if your not standing and shouting at your tv “Follow her for fuck sake, C’MONNNNNN GO FOR IT!!!” at the end of this film, you are emotionally dead! It may be a little quirky for some, but give it a chance and it’ll tear you apart! One of my favourite films of all time, and certainly my favourite “love flick”, dig out a bottle of vino, them cheap ass chocolates you bought and watch ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND!
