Flame on / Flame off

Chris Evans has been made an offer to play Captain America. According to Deadline he is conflicted about playing another superhero role, after playing Johnny Storm in the Fantastic pile of shit 4. Would it be good for his career? Would it be bad?  Who knows? But what else is gonna do? Is there a fear he might get typecast! After all look at Tobey Maguire! The old web slinger himself, or well, was the old web slinger. Case and point is Brothers! After watching Tobey swing around NYC for years, did we really expect him to shoot webs out of his fuckin wrists in Jim Sheridan’s Brothers. Oh…you did….so did I actually! Maybe Chris Evans is right to mull this over!
