As I mentioned yesterday, Sasha Baron Cohen got the boot from the Oscars as it was felt that his Na’Vi love child sketch could cause the Avatar director to up sticks and leave during the televised broadcast! Well, E! have been talking to James Cameron and this is what he said
"I don't know anything about that...I don't produce the Oscars. If they want to poke fun at Avatar Sunday, that's OK by me," said Cameron, "I'm sure we'll laugh.""The Oscars are a celebration of movies...even the gaffes and out-of-bounds stuff are all part of the fun."
Looks like I was right (for once) as the bit seemed to risqué for the Oscars. So, will the sketch get reinstated, very unlikely at this late stage, but Cameron was up for it!!!!
