I was never a big Jame Bond fan, in particular the older movies. But Brosnan started floating my boat ever so slighty, and Daniel Craig floated it to China and back. I think he has been the best Bond and has brought something to the Bond franchise that was sadly lacking. Namely Bad-Assness! Anyway, just as Craig was finding his feet, EON productions Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli put out a joint statement earlier, which was grabbed by comingsoon. The statement reads as follows..
"Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development on Bond 23 indefinitely. We do not know when development will resume and do not have a date for the release of the film."
Bond has made a few quid over the years and I’d imagine this won’t be a problem for too long!
