NYMAG’s Vulture section is saying that JJ Abrams latest project is something quite close to his heart. Abram’s is a huge Steven Spielberg fan (who isn’t) and JJ says “This is really an interpretation of some of Spielberg’s earlier films, but done in a personal way.” Another source says “It’s kind of the anti-Avatar”. Rumour says that JJ has been trying to get Spielberg involved in some way!
This one will be interesting to watch as Spielberg has such a wide catalogue of movies under his belt. Personally I’d like to see Jaws driving the truck from Duel chasing down dinosaurs in Jurassic Park.
