The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (yes, another remake) has been ongoing now for donkeys! Jim Carrey was originally up for the role, but dropped out. Steven Spielberg and Ron Howard were also attached, albeit briefly. Even Owen Wilson got stuck to the movie for a time. Now Pajiba are reporting that Ali G, Borat, Bruno actor Sacha Baron Cohen has been offered the role. He hasn’t said yay or nay to the it yet.
The original Walter Mitty from way back when was a bumbling writer. This time round he will be the manager of a store and dreams of becoming a hero….and yes…he gets an opportunity to do so!
