With his forthcoming role in Machete, De Niro is once again widening his scope as he is now signed on for The Killer Elite according to Moviehole. So far, Jason Statham and Clive Owen have also signed on the dotted line, for the action flick. De Niro will play Stat’s mentor and the overall plot surrounds SAS officers taking on a bunch of assassins.
