JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF THE EARTH 2

The 3D remake that was out a few years ago, was a surprise hit. Even the home version came with those god awful red/green 3D glasses, but none the less was watchable. No surprise then that another Journey to the Centre of the Earth will happen again. Empire is reporting a Deadline story that says Brad Peyton (who's recently completedCats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore) will plank his arse on the directors chair and its looking like Brendan Fraser will NOT make an appearance. Fraser was keen to have the original director (Eric Brevig) back on board, but he has since got held up with Yogi Bear. If Fraser doesn’t reconsider, Josh Hutcherson will be the lead character instead.
