Firstly (as played on the show) Kevin Costner has got some gadget’s to extract oil off the water surface with the current oil disaster in the States
and now James Cameron has possibly spent more time underwater than on land is also set to help out. Cameron has spent plenty of time underwater for his movies, including Ghosts of the Abyss and Aliens of the Deep and has the tech to do so. Cameron is currently in Washington brainstorming with deep-ocean experts on how to sort the growing problem!
