McG is set to direct The Duff. Now, I never heard of a Duff until today, well not in those term’s anyway. DUFF stands for Designated Ugly Fat Friend. It’s based on the Kody Keplinger book (which is not released until September 7th) which see’s a 17 year old girl in high school realise she’s a DUFF. The book centre's around Bianca Piper, the DUFF, who ends up falling for the guy who christened her DUFFY in the first place! A bit of a change of pace for The Terminator Salvation director, who let’s be honest, didn’t exactly rise to the top of the league after Salvation, which to be fair, isn’t the big pile of shit many make it out to be!
