The “lost footage” stuff can work really, really well, particularly in the horror genre. Blair Witch worked, and whilst not really a horror flick, Cloverfield was brilliant and Paranormal Activity, really raised the bar. To be honest, never before has a movie given me wave after wave of ice cold chill’s. Paranormal Activity scared the shit out of me, so much so I don’t think I can ever watch it again. But, chances are I’ll watch the second one, which doesn’t look to scary at all. Ok, so the trailer has got a barking dog and a baby and a few thuds around the place. The trailer doesn’t exactly set the pulse racing, it looks more like someone got up in the middle of the night and thumped around looking for the fridge. Anyway, judge for yourself!
