ROCK ‘EM, SOCK’EM ROBOTS

I know what your thinking! WTF is a movie blog talking about a cheap toy for kids. Well, Rock ‘Em, Sock ‘Em Robots is being developed into a movie, according to Empire, by none other than Wolfgang Petersen. I really don’t know why the director of the likes of the Perfect Storm and Air Force One (not to mention The Neverending Story) is rumoured to be attached to this. Which by all accounts will be along the lines of Gladiator meets Iron Man, where a robot ends up part man / part machine / all Mike Tyson….or something.
