The Fantastic Four was a tough watch on the big screen, and I never re-watched it on the small screen. It tried to hard to be everything, and it just didn’t work. Granted, Chris Evans wasn’t half bad in it and sure there was a bit of eye candy, but not enough to convince you that this was a fantastic pile of [FILL IN YOUR OWN EXPLETIVE] – So I bring tidings of bad news.
Obviously, after finding himself a new role as an action hero in Predators (WHAT!!!!!) Adrian Brody is rumoured (via ScreenRant) to be attached to the reboot, as the role of Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards. And also rumoured, for the same role, is (our very own) Jonathan Rhys Myers. Let’s be frank here, Brody covering himself in mud and talking like batman does not make him an action star. And just because Rhys Myers drove around after John Travolta in Paris, does not make him an action star either. Both are good actors, in particular Rhys Myers, but surely, they don’t need an extension to their house this bad?
