JOAQUIN PHOENIX = HOOVER LOVER?

Joaquin Phoenix will play J. Edgar Hoover’s lover in the forthcoming biopic, if its director Clint Eastwood has his way. Phoenix is according the NYMAG Vulture top of the list to play Clyde Tolson and Hoover’s protégé. Leonardo DiCaprio is lined up for the role of Hoover, but as of yet has not signed on the dotted line.

I guess at this stage, even with the casting rumours there is certainly an Oscar or 2 for some of the involved here! Eastwood is always huge Oscar potential, Phoenix already has come close with a nomination for Gladiator and DiCaprio is surely over due a bald gold dude at this stage!!!
