Here’s something that is trundling away ever so slowly, with Martin Scorsese currently pondering what he will do after Hugo Cabret (with Chloe Moretz), it might be a possibility that he’ll direct The Irishman. It’s adapted from the book I Heard You Paint Houses by Charles Brandt and center on Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran. By all accounts De Niro will play The Irishman, but no idea what Pacino and Pesci would do. Still though, it’s almost like a swan song for all the actors! In the past only Michael Mann has made De Niro and Pacino work on screen! Righteous Kill was just awful, but it would be interesting to see what Scorsese might do with this! Via Deadline!
