Resident Evil AfterLife opened in the States and took the top slot in the box office with over $27 million dollars. So what does that mean? The end of the franchise, going out on a financial high? Nope!!! It means that there will be another Resident Evil movie and Mila Jovovich has confirmed this to NYMAG’s Vulture. “Alice” said “The new Resident Evil is the first one to ever open at number one worldwide. It's the biggest movie in the franchise, so we're definitely going to make another one." And by all accounts, herself and her director husband Paul W.S. Anderson have been on “Twitter and stuff” and they want the next movie to be exactly what the fans want to see!
