The full programme for the 55th Cork Film Festival is now available to download here in .pdf format. Great selection of flicks this year including Never Let Me Go (starring Carey Mulligan and the new spidey, Andrew Garfield) which got great praise at the Toronto and London Film Festivals recently. Never Let Me Go is the opening gala on Sunday Nov 7th at the Cork Opera House. Another few bits which have caught my eye is Somewhere by Sofia Coppola which picked up the Golden Lion which is the top prize at the Venice Film Festival and subsequently she became the first woman to do so. The American starring George Clooney hits the Cork Opera House on Saturday the 13th and the controversial Gaspar Noés follow up to Irreversible, Enter The Void screens on the 9th. There is literally a tonne of stuff going on from the 7th of November for a full week so check the program and take yer pick!
