There's no shortage of rumours around Darren Aronofsky at the moment. He already included in the mix for the new Superman flick as well as god knows what else and now, by all accounts he could be taking the reigns on the adaptation of The Preacher as Columbia are showing an interest, according to Newsarama. The Preacher is a comic book which see’s a priest make contact with some supernatural force and subsequently goes off the find God, who isn’t around for some reason or another. Either way, all is in the rumour mill right now grinding away, but it would be very interesting to see what The Wrestler director could do!
