The original remake wasn’t too bad. Simple, no brainer Stat’em action. It wouldn’t set your pants on fire with excitement but provided you left your brain at the door it did managed to entertain. And the home release, on Blu-Ray in particular was a tour de force when it came to giving your audio system a workout! So after making 75 odd million worldwide, it’s time to milk it one more time. Granted, the Stat is gone but Danny Trejo, Sean Bean, Ving Rhames and Luke Goss will be tearing it up..allegedly. Shock Till You Drop have grabbed the trailer for the prequel, which is more or less an origin tale for Frankenstein and the thing is going straight to home release. The trailer is a bit yawn, but if the price is right for this one it could sell a few copies!
