Seth MacFarlane (of Family guy fame amongst others) has a movie in the works that revolves around a young lad in Boston who wishes his Teddy would come to life. Obviously enough, when one wishes for such things, they happen. Remember that bear in Artificial Intelligence? Robotics my arse! Anyway, the story continues that the boy grows up and the bear is still his best mate, who is by all accounts a bit rock ‘n roll. Mark Wahlberg will play the bear…only kidding. The bear will be in CGi and Wahlberg will play the adult version (once they sort out how much money he gets) of the kid who made the wish.
I think this is a great move for Wahlberg who certainly excels in the comedy roles, and you can’t go far wrong with MacFarlane.
