Carey Mulligan was in the race (at least) to star in the Alien prequels but now it’s Natalie Portman who is top of the list for Sir Scott. The role on offer is that of a female (Duhhh!) Colonial Marine general. Besides that, nothing is known of the script except for the fact that is set 35 years before the original movie and Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof has excited the folks at Fox with his latest draft.
The movie will be in 2 parts and will also be shot in 3D, which you’d hope there would have to be at least one 3D gimmick of a face hugger coming at your face!
