The latest Wall Street movie didn’t do much to enlighten us about the financial fiasco the caused us all to be paying more tax. In actuality, The Other Guys end credits explained things a little bit better. It’s inevitable that another fools of finance movie will turn up and HBO are leading the charge. Curtis Hanson (8 Mile, L.A. Confidential) is directing the movie which follows some of the financial head honchos who were in charge of the money bus before it ploughed into a wall around 2008.
William Hurt will play US Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and James Woods will take on the role of Dick Fuld, who was the bloke in charge of Lehman Brothers. Now if there’s anyone else better suited to that role, I’ll eat my keyboard. Woods was made for this role!!!!! And Paul Giamatti will be Ben Bernanke, the Federal Reserve chairman.
Too Big Too Fail will start shooting in the next few weeks.
