In more Cruise news today, the Top Gun star has currently being offered a supporting role in Rock of Ages, which is movie version of the Broadway musical. The Cruise machine (according to Deadline) has been offered the role of a bartender and he would get to wail out some 80’s toonage in the process. We know he’s got the bar skills down to a tee, but can the Cruiser sing? Well, get out your copy of Top Gun and judge for yourself!
Either way this is something a bit different as Maverick get’s his career back on track, it couldn’t hurt now…could it?
