24 years on and it’s time for a sequel to a movie which doesn’t really need a sequel. I loved the original, buying the soundtrack with my pennies, on cassette tape no less. I even begged, whinged and cried for a Top Gun style jacket. You know, with the small sheep attached around the neck! Anyway, Flyboys director David Ellison is set to shout action and Oscar winning script writer (for The Usual Suspects) Christopher McQuarrie will do the story treatment. Maverick may make a return too as the Cruise machine wants a part that’s not too obvious..whatever that means.
