Peter Weir has a string of decent movies under his belt, which include the likes of Dead Poets Society and The Truman Show. And now, here’s his latest offering. And it’s got a heavy Irish contingent as well, namely Colin Farrell and Saorise Ronan. The Way Back folows the escape of a small group of prisoners from a Siberian gulag back in 1940. For their troubles they thundered across the Siberian artic (watch out for hard nipples), the Gobi desert (watch out for burnt nipples) and the Himalayas (watch out for Yeti nipples) before finally putting India and Tibet as their home address.
The trailer, which you’ll no doubt watch in a second, looks absolutely beautiful. Have a peep and let your thoughts be known in the comments box below. The Way Back hits the big screen on December 26th
