Total Recall Remake. Our very own (yes, I will never get sick of saying that…ok I probably will) Colin Farrell, according to Variety at least ,has been offered the lead role in Total Recall. Sony made the offer last week and Farrell has been hammering out a deal ever since. If you recall the original Total Recall was directed by Paul Verhoven and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and a woman with three tits. Arnie played Doug Quaid who had a problem with some reoccurring dreams of a visit to Mars. Len Wiseman (Live Free or Die Hard, Underworld) will sit in the directors chair and the movie should hit the big screens quite late in 2011. I won’t even bother harking on about ANOTHER remake, but why Total Recall…of all movies to remake? Surely a Schwarzenegger flick should be on sacred ground. What's next? Conan the Barbarian? Oh yeah…..
