Another Roman romp is on the cards with Channing Tatum starring as a Roman bad ass and Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot) plays his bad ass Slave. They go on a bit of a jaunt to Scotland to find Tatum’s father (not in real life mind) and then things take a turn for the worst, for the Roman, who invariably ends up on the other side as it were. Kind of like Avatar, but without the blue makeup. Tatum (Fighting) looks good and Jamie Bell looks great in the trailer! Directed by Kevin McDonald who’s past work has included State of Play and Last King Of Scotland, The Eagle opens in cinemas on March 18th. Given that’s the day after St.Patrick’s day, no Irish will probably see it till the 19th at the earliest!
