Via the wonderful Smodcast network it’s come to the forefront that Kevin Smith has found a star, for his upcoming Hockey movie, Hit Somebody. And…drumroll please…it’s Nicholas Braun (who’s also in Red State btw) who will don the hockey outfits…or whatever hockey people wear. Originally, Sean William Scott was on the ice for Hit Somebody, but opted for Goon instead.
Hit Somebody, which is written by Kevin himself, follows the story of Buddy McCracken as a young up and coming player, who has as much panache for using his fists and he does belting a puck around the place.
