Thank you, LATimes. You've brightened up my evening. This morning the newspaper dropped a story about one of my favourite directors of all time, Park Chan-Wook. The Oldboy director is in early negotiations to make his English language debut with the film Stoker. The flick was written by Wentworth Miller of Prison Break fame, and Carey Mulligan is already attached to star as a young woman whose estranged uncle comes back into her life after the death of her father. It's good to know Chan-Wook is getting back to the director's chair after the critical flop that was Thirst (but I'd really recommend checking it out!) and maybe this will introduce him to a much wider audience.
