Deadline has posted new info on the superhero reboot; Superman: Man Of Steel. Producer Christopher Nolan and director Zack Snyder have begun the hunt to find their Clark Kent and are said to be looking for a relatively unknown actor between the ages 28-32 for the role. So, I think it's safe to say Brandon Routh won't be returning as previously speculated. You've got to have pity on the guy, as he's pretty much dropped a hint in every interview since 2009 that when the franchise kickstarts again, he wants to play the Man of Steel, but no such luck. It has also been announced that the flick will start shooting in June.
All this news makes me think of an interview I read with Snyder years back. He stated to some magazine that the plan was to only make R-Rated (15's or 18's here) movies, so wouldn't it be cool to get a super-stylized, crazy gory Superman story? No? Just me then...
