UPDATE: TRAILER VIEWABLE ON THE MOVIE BIT NOW.
Marvel Studios released the first poster to their upcoming blockbuster, Thor, this morning. Directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman, the flick will follow the original comic books wherein Thor, God of Thunder is banished to earth where he becomes it's greatest defender against evil. Perhaps the poster's dark colouring reflects the tone of the flick, but from where I'm standing it's not exactly giving off 'Comic-Book-Mega-Blockbuster' vibes. It is sweet to see Thor's costume and trademark Hammer again, though.
Thor is scheduled for an April 29th, 2011 release in cinemas here in Ireland.
