For those outside of Ireland, you may have heard (literally) about one of our biggest exports. Forget the black stuff, wooly jumpers and inflatable sheep, I’m talking about U2. Based on Neil McCormick’s (Neil was on the show a long time back and was an incredibly nice bloke) memoir I was Bono's Doppelganger, it follows the story of McCormick and his real-life sibling Ivan as they attempt to become global superstars after seeing their old school mates become that little band, U2. Killing Bono is directed by Nick Hamm (The Hole) and is released next April.
It partially reminds me of The Commitments in tone and humour and the cast certainly look and sound the part! Take a peek at the trailer!
