I’m not going to bitch and moan any more about the Spiderman reboot. Instead, I bring news (via The Wrap) of some new castings. Besides Andrew “Social Network” Garfield playing spidey, Chris Zylka has taken on the role of Peter Parkers rival in high school, Flash Thompson. Flash is the star of the local football team and when he’s not throwing pigskins around the place, he’s bullying Peter Parker. Incidentally and ironically, Flash has great admiration for the oul web slinger. How true the character will be to the comic book remains to be seen.
