A new image from the upcoming adaptation of DC's comic Green Lantern has surfaced online, over at DailyBlam. The picture gives us our first clear look at Tomar-Re, a fellow member of the Green Lantern Corps, alongside Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds. In the comic book, Tomar-Re is a pivotal character, as he's a close friend to Hal and Abin Sur, the alien who gave Hal his powers. So far, we've seen 3 other members of the Corps that will be included in the film; Kilowog, Abin Sur and now Tomar-Re and so far I'm really digging it. It looks as though director Martin Campbell is sticking to the material as closely as possible which is a good thing. There are fans out there that say Green Lantern mightn't be the easiest material to bring to the big screen, as it may come across slightly camp, but if Campbell and co. strike the right tone, it should be great.
