I must have been half asleep this past week, as something I'd been waiting for for quite some time came and went before I even noticed. The first trailer for director Terrence Malick's (The Thin Red Line, Badlands) next film, Tree Of Life, debuted online over at Apple. The eagerly anticipated film centers on a family with three boys growing up in the suburbs in the 1950's. Little else is known about the film, as Malick has kept it's secrets air tight. It'll star Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, Fiona Shaw and Jessica Chastain. One look at the trailer will tell you it's going to be an awesomely powerful and beautiful drama (probably guaranteeing an ole' cry) so here's hoping it arrives soon on our shores and doesn't get delayed, yet again.
