In 2010, hell, probably even earlier than that, MGM began sinking into the murky depths of bankruptcy. When the public finally learned of this, we were informed that the once mega studio could no longer raise the capital needed to bring films like the Red Dawn remake to the big screen, or fund another outing for James Bond. But today, the studio have announced a turn around where they can now go ahead with the long gestured Sam Mendes/Daniel Craig Bond film, or simply, Bond 23. The only other detail is that the film has a release date of November 9th, 2012. This is great news for Bond fans (which I am, so this is awesome) and good news for the fractured movie studio, too. Hopefully this will bring in the $$$ needed to breath new life into the company!
