Casting for Ron Howard's adaptation of the epic Stephen King novels is already underway, with an announcement rolling in within the week, according to an interview of Brian Grazer with MTV. The producer spoke briefly with the site before he dropped the news that the lead role of Roland Deschain should be cast very, very soon. The adaptation will consist of a trilogy, interspersed with a Television series. It centers on a gunslinger, navigating through a Wild West world filled with magic, chaos and monstrous villains. I've never read the novels myself, only the Marvel series (which is quite cool), but this has the potential to be huge. And equally awesome. Check out the brief interview below.
