THE GUARD GETS SIGNED UP!

The buzz from Sundance about the new Brendan Gleeson movie, The Guard has been hugely positive. Also starring Don Cheadle, Mark Strong and Liam Cunningham. The Guard is set on the west coast of Ireland and follows the trials and tribulations of Sergeant Gerry Boyle who has more interest in hookers than a cocaine smuggling ring. Sony Picture Classics has picked up the movie for Stateside distribution and Element Pictures will bring The Guard to the big screen in Ireland! There’s an interview and a few clips from Sundance down below! First impressions are outstanding!!!!!!! Gleeson sounds like he has really nailed the stereotypical Irish cop! And it almost sounds like a true story!!! This will be big!
