The hugely popular Javier Bardem has just been offered yet another starring role; in Bond 23. Just a week after Ron Howard offered him the lead in fantasy epic, The Dark Tower, Deadline has learned that another offer has gone out to the actor for a leading role opposite Daniel Craig. Could the mysterious role be that of a villain? Maybe he's a member of the secret criminal organization Quantum? It's all up in the air as of right now, as Bardem is yet to even accept the offer. But if he did, I'd imagine this will be a very, very interesting Bond entry.
