Though it's yet to find a home at a Hollywood studio, Neill Blomkamp's newest directorial effort, Elysium, has scored it's next cast member. Joining the previously announced Matt Damon and Sharlto Copley is Jodie Foster. It's currently unknown what her role will be and little else is known about the project, except it's a return to sci-fi for Blomkamp and it's an original script. Simon Kinberg (X-Men: First Class, Jumper) will produce.
Personally, the more I think about it, the more I'd have liked to see Blomkamp try his hand at a completely different genre this time around, but I'm almost certain Elysium will be quite the flick indeed.
