Last week on the Movie Bit, we posted an article which said Shane Black was in the running to direct the third entry in the Iron Man series. And last night, it was confirmed via Deadline! This is excellent news for the franchise, as we know that Black can deliver the goods with both directing and writing (it's unclear yet if he'll also write the film) with such films as Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and The Last Boy Scout. Marvel Studios are keeping everything else hush-hush right now, but when we know more, so will you.
