Ed Wood is a superb film in my eyes. Funny, dramatic, exciting, bizarre, bittersweet. Hell, I'd put it in my top 50 of all time. So I really hope Tim Burton brings it home this time with another film of that same caliber. His upcoming adaptation of the old gothic soap, Dark Shadows seems like it might just be that film. Deadline has now learned that Eva Green is locked to star alongside Johnny Depp, with Jackie Earle Haley and Bella Heathcote also possibly joining. Depp and Green could be wonderful as the ageless, cursed couple, Barnabus and Angelique. Check back for more casting as it happens!
