Bit late with this one, but Deadline is reporting that Paramount have signed and locked in a director for the sequel to G.I. Joe: Rise Of The Cobra. Jon Chu will take the franchise reigns. It looks like he won the gig after the obvious success of his latest picture, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. His other previous credits include Step-Up 2 and Step-Up 3D. No word yet on who'll return for the Joe's second cinematic outing, but I'd expect Channing Tatum and Dennis Quaid...but don't expect a good movie.
