News has just hit (via Deadline) that Kevin Costner is being seriously considered for one of the main roles in Zack Snyder's Superman: Man Of Steel. What role is that exactly? I have no idea. But neither does anyone else, as the studio are staying mute right now. I'd imagine there's two likely roles for the Dances With Wolves star; either Jor-El (Superman's father) or else Jonathon Kent (Superman's stepfather). Here's hoping it's the former, as Costner just doesn't click with me as Kent Sr. But then it's entirely plausible that the actor is up for a completely different role, so stay tuned for more information!
