Marvel just keeps on making the right decision. With news that Shane Black, writer of Lethal Weapon, The Last Boy Scout and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, will direct the third entry in the Iron Man series, it was speculated that because of his credentials, he'd be writing the film, too. Well, it's been confirmed today AICN that he will infact write the screenplay, with story additions from Robert Downey Jr. In the article, it's also revealed that Marvel told Black that they weren't happy with the direction that Iron Man 2 went and are hoping for a more down-to-earth tone.
