Some more info just landed on director Neill Blomkamp's (District 9) next feature, Elysium. This article over at Latino Review announces that the villain of the sci-fi production has been cast; Wagner Moura (Elite Squad, Elite Squad 2) won the as-of-yet unspecified role. Moura (pictured below) joins the previously announced Matt Damon, Sharlto Copley and Jodie Foster. Also, something I don't think we've touched on here with our coverage on Elysium, but the film's sets will be designed by Syd Mead, of Blade Runner and Tron fame. I'm really hoping Blomkamp kills it once again with Elysium, as it'd be a shame to see his filmography tarnished with one hit and one miss.
