During a rather interesting interview with Guillermo Del Toro (just posted over at Deadline), the maestro confirmed his next directing gig will be Pacific Rim, a PG-13 monster movie written by Travis Beacham (Clash Of The Titans). In the interview, Del Toro talks about Universal's reluctance to green-light the violent, big-budget At The Mountains Of Madness, so in the mean time he'll shoot this flick beginning September for a 2013 release date. Perhaps if Pacific Rim makes Universal some cash, we'll finally get to see his personal epic?
